Location

Nuoro Province, Sardinia. Located 200 metres south of the Posada River mouth (Foce Rio Posada). Contact the Regional Hydrographic District Authority at Viale Trieste n. 159/3, 09123 Cagliari.

Facilities

Facilities include lifeguard and first aid assistance, toilet services, disabled access facilities, food services, and sports structures. Animals are not permitted.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent. Identified pollution sources include river mouths and ports, both classified as less important pressures.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events are under study for appropriate modelling approach. Cyanobacterial and macroalgal proliferation assessments are conducted but no specific events are detailed.
