Water quality classification: Excellent. A wastewater treatment plant is operational in the area. Short-duration pollution events have been identified, including accidental treatment plant failures and overflow incidents from urban sources. No specific management measures are currently active.

Risks

Accidental depuration plant failures and overflow events from urban sources have been recorded. No cyanobacterial or algal blooms have been observed in the sea or inland waters over the past four years.
