A bathing water area located 250 meters to the right of the Fosso della Fiora outlet on Lake Bracciano. The beach is sandy in structure with no equipped areas. The site is situated in a context with nearby streams and ditches, but without significant urbanization or industrial areas in the immediate vicinity.

Lake Bracciano. The bathing area is designated as part of the Arrone Sud catchment basin.

Location

Bracciano, Rome Province, Lazio Region. The bathing area is located at an altitude of 165 meters above sea level and extends for 582 meters.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: elevated. No active specific monitoring programs are in place to measure pollutant concentrations during the bathing season. There are no urban wastewater treatment plants with capacity for more than 2,000 inhabitants equivalent in the reference municipality.

Risks

Mollusc farming identified as a source of pollution. Short-duration pollution events are still under study regarding appropriate modeling approaches. Cyanobacterial proliferation events and toxic effects on swimmers or the aquatic environment have not been verified in the preceding four years. Macroalgae, phytoplankton, or marine phytobenthos proliferation events have not been documented.
