A transitional water body bathing area located in the Varano Lake in Puglia, Italy. The bathing water extends 1.87 square kilometers from the Capoiale outlet toward the Varano outlet in the municipality of Ischitella. The area is characterized by the absence of wastewater treatment plant discharges or river outlets that would convey pollutants into the bathing zone. No cases of cyanobacterial or toxic algal blooms have been recorded, and no short-duration pollution events occurred in the four years prior to the profile's creation.
