The bathing water area is located at 350 meters on the left bank of the Arrone outfall channel near Anguillara Sabazia in the Lazio region. The area consists of a sandy beach with equipped facilities available. The water body is Lago di Bracciano, situated at an altitude of 165 meters above sea level, with an area of approximately 941 meters in length.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: elevated (95th and 90th percentile parameters). No active specific monitoring programmes are currently in place to measure pollutant concentrations and limit their spread during the bathing season. The area has no urban wastewater treatment plants with capacity greater than 2000 population equivalents in the reference municipality.

Risks

Mollusk aquaculture identified as a pollution source. Short-duration pollution events are still under study for appropriate modelling approach. No cyanobacterial blooms or macroalgae proliferation events have been recorded in the previous four years. No anomalous situations have been verified.
