Acquafredda – Vallone degli zingari is a bathing area located on the Tyrrhenian coast of Basilicata in the Gulf of Policastro. The coastline is characterized by rocky and rugged terrain with steep cliffs, caves, and small beaches, some accessible only by sea. Villa Nitti, a seaside mansion overlooking the water that once belonged to an Italian prime minister from the 1920s, now hosts artistic and cultural events in the area. The Porticello beach is frequented by swimmers.
