Season

June 1st to September 30th, 2025. Sampling frequency: 1 sample every 2 weeks.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2024 in accordance with Decreto-Lei 135/09. Diffuse pollution sources upstream from agriculture or domestic activities are present. Salmonella was detected at the start of the 2024 bathing season. Zero days of bathing prohibition or advice against bathing due to short-term pollution events occurred during the 2024 bathing season.
