Adriatic Sea coastal waters. Moderate underwater coastal slope (15–25 degrees). Tide amplitude of 25.1 cm. Average sea temperature during season: 23.1°C. Salinity range: 31.8–38.2 ppt. Prevailing wind direction: South.

Location

Živogošće, Makarska Rivijera, Croatia. Access via non-asphalt road. No parking available. The beach is situated in a camp area managed by Općina Podgora.

Shower, changing room, café bar, trash cans, sea buoys, land sports, water sports. Floating safety lines for beach front protection.

Season

Monitoring conducted year-round with annual assessments and rolling four-year assessment periods from 2009 onwards.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually with 10 samples per year from 2009 to 2025. Assessment periods under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EC show consistent monitoring with 40 samples over rolling four-year periods. Final assessment classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor categories.
