Almograve is a coastal bathing water on a moderately exposed mesotidal Atlantic coast with a tidal regime of 3.5 m. The beach has an extensive sandy shoreline approximately 120 m in length. During the bathing season, the site experiences average rainfall of 7.9 mm, average air temperature of 21.3 °C, prevailing northwest winds, and up to 10 hours of daily sunshine. Since 2024, the beach has been designated for limited use.
