Åminne is a bathing beach located approximately 35 km east of Visby in Gothem parish on Gotland's east coast. The sandy beach is about 1 km long and situated in a small bay called Vitviken. The beach is relatively shallow with a sand bottom interspersed with smaller and larger stones. Sand dunes with vegetation, grass areas and trees surround the beach. Gothemsån, Gotland's largest river at approximately 50 km long, empties into the sea at the midpoint of the beach.
