Areão is a Type III beach located in the National Forest Dunes of Vagos area on the mesotidal exposed Atlantic Coast. The beach extends 750 meters along the coastal front and is not subject to direct influence from urban centers. The area features a temperate Mediterranean climate with prevailing winds blowing in the NW-SE direction, predominantly from the NW during summer. Infrastructure, equipment, and various services are available at this bathing water location.
