Badesee Heede is an artificial bathing lake located approximately 2 km southwest of Heede in a rural area of Germany. The lake was created through sand extraction for the construction of the Bundesautobahn A 31. The beach area has sandy shores and slopes gently into the water, extending approximately 1 km in length. The lake contains freshwater with no surface inflows and is fed by groundwater. The southern section features a modern water ski facility with a circuit length of approximately 960 meters, ranked among the most modern in Europe.
