Barbat - istok is a cultivated beach located on the island of Rab in Croatia. The beach features a concrete surface structure with a wavelike coastline and mild underwater slope. It stretches 400 metres in length and experiences high bather density during the swimming season. The beach is situated in a small town setting without vegetation.

Annual monitoring conducted throughout the year with 10 samples per year from 2010 onwards.

Water Quality

Water quality assessments conducted annually with 10 samples per year and final assessments over 4-year periods. Quality classifications range from excellent to poor. EU Directive 2006/7/EZ monitoring standards apply.
