Blå Lagunen is a former limestone quarry located approximately 60 km north of Visby on Gotland's northwestern coast. The quarry has a limestone and gravel bottom surrounded by gravel areas and some vegetation. The water is distinctly clear and bright blue, giving the bathing spot its name. It is a popular summer swimming destination, particularly during June through August when visitor numbers are highest.
