Blace is a partially cultivated beach located in Slivno on the Croatian coast. The beach features a predominantly sandy shore with some concrete structures and is bordered by trees. It has a mild coastal slope and moderate underwater slope, creating suitable conditions for swimming. The beach is situated within a protected area and experiences low bather density during the season.

Water

Adriatic Sea coastal water body with a beach length of 65 metres and width of 5 metres. Average sea temperature during the season is 23.65°C. Salinity ranges from 14.8 to 38.5 PSU. Tide amplitude is 24 centimetres. The beach has an indented coastline shape with a mild coastal slope (less than 15 degrees) and moderate underwater slope (15 to 25 degrees). Prevailing wind direction is north.

Location

Blace is located in Slivno, Croatia, at coordinates 43.0008°N, 17.4801°E. Access is via an asphalt road. Free parking is available.

Facilities

A restaurant is available on or near the beach. Boat docking is available nearby but outside the beach area.

Season

Monitoring occurs annually with 10 samples collected per year. Assessment periods are based on four-year cycles beginning in 2009.

Water Quality

Water quality is monitored under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EC. Annual monitoring occurs with 10 samples per year since 2009. Multi-year assessment periods show 40 samples collected over four-year intervals. Quality classifications of excellent, good, sufficient, and poor are applied.
