Bobrowe Rozlewisko is a bathing area located in Zabierzów Bocheński, situated 8 km from Niepołomice and 25 km from Kraków. The ponds are former gravel extraction sites situated near the scenic Niepołomicka Forest. The bathing area features a designated swimming zone marked with buoys, a large sandy beach, beach volleyball court, and children's playground. Water levels in the reservoir are influenced by groundwater levels and experience minor fluctuations.

Water Quality

Most recent test (21/08/2025) indicated water suitable for bathing with E. coli at 260 CFU/100 ml and enterococci at 360 CFU/100 ml. Maximum permissible concentrations: E. coli 1000 CFU/100 ml, enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. Water unsuitable for bathing reported on 24/07/2024 due to E. coli (2000 CFU/100 ml) and enterococci (800 CFU/100 ml). Similar exceedance noted on 18/08/2023. Monitoring occurs regularly throughout the swimming season.

Risks

Red flag currently displayed due to strong wind, rain, and storms. Historical water quality issues with E. coli and enterococci exceeding safe limits on multiple occasions (July–August 2023 and 2024).
