The Kollersee water surface, created through gravel extraction, is located in the area of an old Rhine tributary with sand and gravel beaches and remnants of riparian forest. The shoreline at Kollerinsel is used as a boat, surf, and canoe beach as well as a bathing beach. The shoreline area northwest of the boat jetty facilities is reserved for nature conservation. Southeast of the boat jetty facilities and the surf and canoe beach, there is a freely accessible bathing area. Swimming and bathing in the lake as well as the use of the beach are at your own risk. No lifeguard supervision! No sanitary facilities!
