Cala Burroni lies within the Capo Carbonara marine reserve near Villasimius, close to the Capo Carbonara lighthouse. The shoreline is pebble with a rocky seabed, suited to snorkeling. It is reached via a roughly 20-minute walk from the free parking area at the end of Via Capo Carbonara, with no facilities on site.
