Cala Coticcio lies within the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park, reached by a rocky descent of about one hour that includes rope-assisted scrambling sections. Access is limited to 60 visitors per day and requires booking a guide in advance through operators listed on the park's official website, as independent entry to the trail is not permitted. A second, smaller cove lies past rocks to the left of the main beach, reachable on foot or by swimming, with no boat access or shortcuts to either area.
