Cala del Gesso sits within the Monte Argentario natural reserve, reached by a footpath from the cliffside above, with parking available at a nearby lot (Parcheggio Il Pino) along the main road. The water is clear and turquoise with a rocky seabed, suitable for snorkeling, and the beach has no facilities on site, so visitors bring their own water and food. Access requires a hike of about one kilometer down from the parking area.
