Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No direct wastewater discharge to sea. The potential point source of pollution is represented by the presence of canal mouths. No short-duration pollution events have been recorded in the last four years.

Risks

Canal mouth outlet identified as a potential pollution source. No algal or cyanobacterial blooms detected. No proliferation of potentially toxic algal strains has been identified.
