Water quality classification: Excellent (2017-2020). No direct wastewater discharges to sea are present. No short-duration pollution events have been recorded in the last four years.

Risks

The mouth of Canale Peluso at the southern boundary represents a potential point source of pollution that could affect bathing water quality. No cyanobacteria or algal blooms have been detected. No toxic algal strains have been recorded in the last four years.
