Capo Boy is a coastal bathing water located in the municipality of Cagliari, Sardegna, Italy. The beach has a sandy seabed with a width of 250 metres and typically accommodates around 350 bathers. The bay is bounded to the west by the Porto Sa Ruxi settlement and to the east by the Capo Boi promontory. The water quality is classified as excellent.

Location

Cagliari, Sardegna, Italy. The bathing area is located in the municipality of Villasimius, in the terminal section of the Riu Cani Prandiu and Riu Fraischeddu valleys. The area is located in the Riu Solanas drainage basin.

Refreshment points available. No lifeguard or first aid assistance. No toilets or showers. No disabled facilities. No sports facilities. Animals not permitted.

Water quality classification: excellent. Identified pollution pressures include ports and river mouths, both classified as less important. Short-duration pollution event characterisation is under study with an appropriate modelling approach.
