Potential pollution sources identified include: wastewater collection system discharges, stormwater outlets with bacterial loads, autonomous sanitation system failures, agricultural runoff from grazing and spreading activities, wild mooring activities, animals on the beach, and bather-related pollution. Risk of phytoplankton and macroalgae proliferation has been assessed.
