Cavallino-via Radaelli civ. 10 is an equipped beach located on the Cavallino peninsula, which separates the Lagoon of Venice from the Adriatic Sea to the north. The beach is oriented along the NE-SW direction and is situated approximately 6000 metres northeast of the Lido port entrance. The beach width ranges from 50 to 100 metres. The bathing water has been classified as excellent for the period 2021–2024.

Location

Cavallino Treporti municipality in the Province of Venice, Veneto region, Italy. The beach is located on the Cavallino peninsula, approximately 6 kilometres from the Lido port entrance.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2021–2024). Monitoring results show EI95° 18.663, EI90° 16.489, EC95° 124.304, and EC90° 84.247. No river mouths identified as pollution sources.

Risks

Wastewater treatment plant (Cavallino Treporti depurator) with capacity of 105,000 inhabitant equivalents discharges directly to sea approximately 4 kilometres from the coast.
