Chimney Cove sits near Mizen Head, within view of Brow Head, Crookhaven, and the mainland mountains across the bay. Sand dunes border the shoreline, and the water is clear and cold with noticeable waves. A car park serves the east side with a downhill walk of about 1km to the sand, while access from the west is steeper and less straightforward.
