Church Bay Beach sits at the base of a steep hill near Cork, accessed via a narrow, cul-de-sac road with parking available at the top and bottom. The beach consists of rocks and stones rather than sand, with toilets located at the entrance. Bus routes 220 and 220X reach the nearby city center, followed by a 20-minute walk to the beach.
