Isola di Capo Rizzuto, province of Crotone, region of Calabria. The bathing area is situated in front of the town centre.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. Pollution sources identified include two watercourses: Burrone Scerra and Fosso Meolo. No specific active measures are currently in place to address these sources.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events from runoff in urban areas have been identified, linked to Burrone Scerra and Fosso Meolo watercourses. No cyanobacterial proliferation or macroalgal/phytoplankton proliferation events have been recorded in the previous four years.
