Location

Oristano, Sardegna, Italy. The bathing area is in the municipality of Arborea. Access is by sea, as the road (Strada 18 West) is reserved for facility employees.

No lifeguards. No toilets. No showers. No facilities for disabled access. No food services. No sports facilities. Animals are not permitted.

Water quality classification: excellent. Diffuse agricultural and livestock pressures have been identified as very important pollution sources. Short-duration pollution events are under study for appropriate modelling approaches.
