Dachovy u Hořic is an artificial bathing reservoir located at 344 metres elevation with a surface area of 0.007 km². The bathing area has a sandy and grassy shore with a sandy bottom and brick-lined slopes. The main beach is approximately 200 metres long. Microbiological water quality is classified as excellent based on enterococcus and Escherichia coli parameters. However, the bathing area is considered at risk due to cyanobacteria. Water transparency has shown an unfavourable declining trend, with mean values between 1.0 and 3.0 metres over 2005–2023.
