Location

Carovigno, province of Brindisi, Puglia region, Italy. The bathing water body is named Torre Canne, northern boundary of Torre Guaceto Marine Protected Area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No sewage treatment discharge outlets release urban effluent to sea. No watercourses or channels convey pollutants to the bathing area. No short-duration pollution events were recorded in the past four years.

Risks

No cyanobacteria or algae blooms identified. No cases of potentially toxic algal proliferation detected. No abnormal situations recorded.
