The bathing lake is surrounded by the very idyllic Iller floodplain forest. Located in the northeastern part of Dietenheim, immediately surrounded by the idyllic floodplain forest, lies the approximately 24,000 square metre bathing lake. Since the bathing lake is up to 9 metres deep and therefore has significant groundwater inflow in the Iller valley, the water flows relatively quickly towards the north (Ulm) and therefore has very good water quality. Catering: Kiosk with small snack bar. Hygiene: Changing cabins, showers, sanitary facilities (not wheelchair accessible). Safety: No lifeguard on duty. Activities: Beach volleyball, table tennis table, children's playground. Sunbathing and Swimming: Sun lounging area with shaded spots and natural beach, shallow shore, bathing jetty, separate non-swimmer area, two sun decks on the lake. Parking: Approximately 100 parking spaces directly at the lake, free of charge. Further Information: Admission to the bathing lake is free, no access for wheelchair users, dogs prohibited, no barbecue facilities, one side of the lake is closed to bathers for nature conservation reasons.
