Dog Beach occupies a marked section, roughly 100 meters, of a much longer stretch of sandy coastline along the sea. The site includes nearby paid parking, a hose and bowls for dogs, and an umbrella for shade, with dogs required to be leashed at all times. Entry requires a fee, sometimes collected separately at a parking meter and again on-site.
