Sea beach with pebby and rocky surface. Beach length 270 metres, beach width 30 metres. Mild coastal slope (less than 15 degrees), moderate underwater coastal slope (15 to 25 degrees). Average sea temperature 23.39°C. Salinity range 33.6 to 39.1. Tide amplitude 36.2 cm. Prevailing wind direction North-East.

Location

Located in Marčana at Duga Uvala (coordinates 44.9264°, 14.027°). Access is via pedestrian path. Free parking is available.

Facilities

Restaurant, playground, land sport facilities, water sport facilities, auxiliary facility, trashcan. Floating safety lines (beach fronts) for sea side protection. Boat docking available nearby but outside the beach.

Monitoring conducted year-round with annual assessments and multi-year assessment periods from 2009 to 2025.

Water Quality

Water quality has been assessed annually and in multi-year periods under both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ from 2009 to 2025, with 10 samples collected each year and 40 samples per assessment period. Quality classifications recorded include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
