Dugi Rat is a cultivated pebble beach located on the Makarska Riviera in Brela, Croatia. The beach features a convex coastal shape with a moderate underwater slope and is situated in a small town setting. It has low and high vegetation and experiences an average sea temperature of 23.89°C during the bathing season. The beach holds Blue Flag status and is protected by floating safety lines.

Adriatic Sea. Average sea temperature during season: 23.89°C. Salinity range: 32.2–38.4 ppt. Tide amplitude: 26.3 cm. Moderate underwater coastal slope (15–25 degrees).

Location

Brela, Makarska Riviera. Access via non-asphalt road. Parking available with charge.

Lifeguard service, toilets, showers, changing rooms, disabled access, restaurants, café bar, sea buoys, benches, parking area, trash cans, land sports, water sports available.

Season

Annual monitoring conducted with 10 samples per year from 2010 onwards. High bather density during season.

Water Quality

Water quality has been assessed annually since 2009 under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
