Location

Located in Olbia-Tempio commune, Sardinia region. The competent authority is the Direzione generale agenzia regionale del distretto idrografico della sardegna, based at Viale Trieste n. 159/3 (3rd floor), 09123 Cagliari.

First aid and emergency assistance. Toilets. Facilities for disabled persons. Food and beverage services. Sports facilities. Animals are not permitted access.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent. Urban wastewater treatment plants are identified as a very important pollution pressure. Tourist accommodation discharges are also identified as very important pollution sources. Ports are identified as a less important pollution source.

Risks

An appropriate modelling approach is under study to characterise short-duration pollution events and identify their sources. Morphological infrastructure including coastal works, shipyards and ports are identified as less important pressures.
