Eraclea Mare-Marina di S. Croce is a bathing area located along the Adriatic coastline in the Veneto region, extending to the mouth of Laguna del Morte. The beach is characterized by the presence of campsites, summer colonies, and heterogeneous tourist structures. The area features a pine forest and a former summer camp for children.

Location

Eraclea, Venice province, Veneto region. The beach extends along the Adriatic coast to the southwest toward the mouth of Laguna del Morte. Competent authorities: Municipality of Eraclea, Coastal Guard (tel. 1530), and ARPAV (mail: oaa@arpa.veneto.it).

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2021–2024 monitoring period). EI95° 16.723; EI90° 15.166; EC95° 76.682; EC90° 55.259. Wastewater treatment: Eraclea Mare treatment plant (Via dei Pioppi) with design capacity of 32,000 population equivalents, located 16.4 km from the sea outlet. No river mouths identified as pollution sources.
