Location

Margherita di Savoia, Barletta-Andria-Trani province, Apulia region, Italy. The bathing water is located 30 metres to the right of the Carmosina Canal mouth.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No direct wastewater discharges to sea are present. No short-duration pollution events were recorded in the four years prior to the profile date.

Risks

The Carmosina Canal mouth at the northern boundary represents a potential point source of pollution. No cyanobacterial blooms or toxic algal proliferation has been detected. No anomalous situations have occurred.
