Grandovac is a partially cultivated beach on the island of Vis in Croatia. The beach features a rocky surface with tree vegetation and measures 25 metres in length and 5 metres in width. Saltwater beach environment with salinity ranging from 37.7 to 39.8 during the season. The beach is 25 metres long and 5 metres wide with a mild coastal slope and moderate underwater slope. Tide amplitude is 24.4 centimetres.

Location

Grandovac is located in Vis, Croatia at coordinates 43.0687°N, 16.2061°E. Access is via a non-asphalt road. Free parking is available.

Facilities

Sanitary facility, changing room, café bar, fast food, benches, trashcan, floating safety lines for beach front protection. Boat docking is located more than 100 metres away from the beach.

Water quality has been assessed annually with 10 samples per year from 2009 to 2025. Four-year assessment periods show consistent monitoring under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Recent classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
