Gränsö is a sea bathing beach located approximately 9 km from Västervik's city centre on the northern Småland coast. The beach features a sandy shore and forested area, with a gently sloping bottom of fine sand. Swimmers use the Lusärnafjärden (also called Lucernafjärden), which forms part of the Baltic Sea. The bathing area is situated within the Gränsö nature reserve.
