Location

Located on the eastern shore of Großer Benzer See, approximately 5 km northeast of Malente. The village of Benz is situated approximately 1 km northeast of the lake.

Season

Monitoring occurs from May through September, with sampling dates recorded on 13 May, 11 June, 8 July, 5 August, and 2 September.

Water Quality

Water quality is monitored and classified annually. Monitoring results are available for multiple years (2019–2024). The bathing site is open as of the current status.
