Guardiola is a wide sandy beach located 0.5 km north of the Gioi River mouth in the municipality of Noto, Sicily. The beach is easily accessible and frequently visited by local residents and tourists. The area is urbanized with residential buildings, beach establishments, and commercial structures. The bathing water has been classified as Excellent for the period 2010–2014.

Location

Municipality of Noto, Province of Syracuse, Sicily. The beach is situated in the area between the Tellaro River and the Asinaro River. Competent authority: Municipality of Noto, Via Ruggero Settimo 8, Tel. 0931/896111.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2010–2014). No bathing prohibitions are in place. Monitoring is conducted by ASP Syracuse and ST-ARPA Siracusa.
