Härlanda Tjärn

Sweden Lake 1 - Excellent

Härlanda Tjärn is a popular bathing lake surrounded by forest with grassy areas, sandy beach, and bathing piers. A café and kiosk are available on-site. Fishing is permitted except from the bathing piers and requires a valid fishing permit. Dogs are prohibited from 1 May to 15 September.

Water

Lake covering approximately 16.6 hectares, surrounded largely by bog forest with birch, pine, spruce, alder, rowan, oak, and aspen. The western section contains wetland areas with bog forest and reed beds.

Location

The nearest public transport stop is Spåntorget, approximately 700 metres from the bathing area. The beach is located in the northeastern part of the lake.

Facilities

Bathing piers, children's playground, outdoor shower, toilets (male, female, accessible), grillplaces, accessible ramp to water at left pier. Toilet facilities open 07:00–22:00 daily year-round.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as Excellent (Utmärkt kvalitet) for 2025, 2024, 2023, and 2022. Nutrient-rich water supports fish populations including perch, pike, roach, bream, carp, and occasional rainbow trout.
