Ketziner Havelstrand is a bathing area on the Havel River in Brandenburg, located where the river narrows to 150–300 metres after passing through several lake-like expansions. The river is divided at this point by two long islands called Langer Werder, and the beach is situated at the beginning of a side channel. The surrounding area includes nature reserves protecting rare bird species and threatened plants. Water quality has significantly improved since the 1990s, with summer visibility depths ranging from 0.5 to 2 metres.
