Hechtsee Strandbad is a lake bathing area in Austria with a surface area of 28 hectares and maximum depth of 57 metres. Despite its significant depth, the lake has a relatively small surface area and is sheltered from wind. The deep water of the lake is oxygen-poor, particularly during summer months. The bathing area is monitored for microbiological quality according to Austrian bathing water regulations.
