Hoodny Cove features a rocky foreshore leading down to sand, with access via a path bordered by vegetation. An old harbour once used for landing pilchards sits nearby, and at low tide the rocks can be walked to reach an adjacent cove known as Britain Cove. Parking is available close to the beach.
