Falerna Marina, in the municipality of Falerna, province of Catanzaro, Calabria. The bathing area is situated in front of the inhabited centre of Falerna Marina.

Water quality classification: Excellent. No specific active pollution control measures are currently in place.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events from runoff originating from urban areas have been identified at the mouth of Vallone Marevitano. No cyanobacterial proliferation events have occurred in the past four years. No macroalgal or phytoplankton proliferation events have been recorded.
