The beach experiences high bather density during the season and is sheltered by a North-West prevailing wind.

Adriatic Sea. Beach length 450 metres, width 15 metres. Coastal slope is mild (less than 15 degrees). Underwater coastal slope is moderate (15 to 25 degrees). Average sea temperature during season 22.96°C. Salinity ranges from 27.8 to 39.7 during the season. Tide amplitude 27.6 centimetres.

Water quality classifications have been assessed annually from 2009 to 2025 with 10 samples per year, and in four-year periods from 2009–2012 onwards with 40 samples per period under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Classifications range from excellent to poor.
