Howdiemont Sands sits along the Northumberland coast path near Boulmer, adjacent to Sugar Sands, and is sometimes referred to as Longhoughton Beach. A footbridge crosses a stream flowing into the sea near the entrance to the beach. Parking is available with 30 minutes free before payment via the Ringo app is required, though mobile signal in the area can be limited.
