Instow Beach sits on the Torridge Estuary near the villages of Instow and Appledore, offering a large expanse of sand exposed at low tide. Pay-and-display parking, including Sandhills car park (EX39 4LF), runs alongside the beach, with public toilets, a promenade lined with shops, pubs and eateries, and a slope providing access onto the flat sand. Dogs are permitted, and the beach is popular with walkers due to its level surface.
